CALGARY — Posted July 5, 2013 — Last month’s flooding did not stop Stampede officials from cleaning up the Calgary Stampede Park in Calgary, Canada. The Calgary Stampede is the largest outdoor show on earth so one could imagine how hard crews worked cleaning up.
In the famous Scotiabank Saddledome, that is on Stampede grounds, water reached the 13th seating row. As a result, famous country band The Dixie Chicks will not be playing in this year’s Calgary Stampede.
The Calgary Stampede will be on this year until July 14th, 2013.
