Calgary-based delivery service Abdouexpress revealed its redesigned logo on Thursday, marking a significant milestone in the company's ongoing brand modernization efforts as it expands operations throughout Alberta.

The new logo features a streamlined design with bold typography and incorporates elements representing speed and reliability, according to company founder Abdou Hassan. The rebrand reflects the company's evolution from a small local courier service to a regional logistics provider serving communities across the province.

"Our original logo served us well in our early days, but as we've grown and expanded our services, we needed a visual identity that better represents who we are today," Hassan said in a statement. "This new design captures our commitment to innovation while maintaining the trust our customers have placed in us."

The redesign process took several months and involved collaboration with local Calgary design firm Nexus Creative. The updated branding will be rolled out across all company vehicles, uniforms, and digital platforms over the coming weeks.

Abdouexpress has experienced significant growth since launching in 2019, initially focusing on same-day delivery services within Calgary. The company now operates in Edmonton, Red Deer, and several smaller Alberta communities, with plans for further expansion announced earlier this year.

Marketing director Sarah Chen explained that the logo refresh aligns with the company's strategic vision for 2026. "We're not just changing our appearance – we're reinforcing our position as Alberta's most reliable delivery partner," Chen noted.

The new branding coincides with Abdouexpress's recent investment in electric delivery vehicles and enhanced tracking technology. The company has also expanded its partnership network to include local businesses featured on platforms like CalgaryFinder.com, connecting customers with neighbourhood services.

Industry analysts suggest the rebranding effort reflects broader trends in Alberta's logistics sector, where companies are modernizing operations to meet evolving consumer expectations. The province's delivery market has grown substantially since 2020, with local firms competing alongside national carriers.

Hassan emphasized that despite the visual changes, the company's core values remain unchanged. "We're still the same team committed to serving our communities with integrity and excellence," he said. "The new logo simply helps us tell that story more effectively."

Customers can expect to see the updated branding on Abdouexpress vehicles throughout Calgary and other Alberta cities beginning next week. The company's mobile app and website will feature the new design starting Monday.
