The incident unfolded at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the ACE Casino along 40 Aero Crescent N.E., when gunfire erupted without warning. Calgary Police Service officers arrived to find the suspects had already fled the scene.
The male victim was transported to the Peter Lougheed Centre by an unknown person. According to police, the man remains in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries.
